The Today tab is the day’s financial headlines, filtered to the stories that name two to five of our stocks, because those are the ones that make a market. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq don’t count towards the two: they turn up in too much boilerplate. Each story page has three tabs: Open a market on a story fills in the new-market form with the agent’s take, stocks and length. Join a market jumps to the live markets on those stocks. You can also skip the news: type any take into the box at the top of Today and tap Make a market.

How the agent works

The Take Builder runs on cruq. It gets the story, or your words, plus the list of stocks it may choose from, and answers with one structured block: the take, one to four stocks with a reason each, a length and a risk line. The app treats the answer as untrusted: symbols are checked against the list, and every field is trimmed to size before you see it. It never gives buy or sell advice. Headlines come from Yahoo Finance’s public feeds and refresh every 10 minutes. Trade ideas are cached per story, so everyone reading the same story sees the same ideas.
